Description:
Midrasha Mathematica 1999 has organized a week long school, May 24 - May 28 1999, centered around the theory of Riemann surfaces. The program of the School will be of particular interest to advanced graduate and post-doctoral students as well as young researchers in mathematics and physics. It will also be of interest to other students of the natural and social sciences who have a strong background in mathematics. Professional mathematicians, specially those working in allied areas are invited to attend as well since in the week following the School May 30 - June 2 the Mathematics Department of the Hebrew University will be sponsoring a workshop in the same area.
