Description:
Quantization, the process of going from classical to quantum physics, has proven to be an important notion also in mathematics. This meeting is devoted to the mathematical theory of quantization of symplectic and Poisson manifolds, particularly in the presence of a group action. The central theme is the interaction between the geometric and algebraic approach to the quantization problem on one side and the examples and techniques provided by quantum integrable systems on the other.
