Description:

The central objective of the conference is to provide a coherent and up-to-date presentation of the main trends in Computer Vision, both for "low-level'' and "high-level'' vision tasks. The meeting will emphasize the mathematical foundations of Computer Vision/Image Processing, as well as its state-of-the-art applications in industry, medical/bio-medical imagery, robotics, traffic monitoring, satellite data analysis, compression, and other areas. The meeting will also cover the Hidden Markov Model framework to Speech Recognition, and highlight similarities and differences between the speech and vision problems.

Speakers: Y.Amit, O.Catoni, P.Diakonis, O.Faugeras, D.Geman, S.Geman, I.Johnstone, J.Malik, C.Regazzoni, S.Ullmann, J.Zerubia
