The IASTED International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Soft
Computing which will be held at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel is a major
forum for researchers and practitioners world-wide who are interested in
the latest advances in, and applications of, artificial intelligence and soft
computing technology. The conference scope for 1999 has been
condensed and rationalized into three streams: artificial intelligence, soft
computing, and industrial applications and environmental systems.
