Description:
Over the Columbus Day Weekend, from October 9-11, 1999, The Department of Mathematics will host the 50th anniversary of the C.L.E. Moore Instructorship to celebrate the history and scientific influence of all former and current Mathematics Instructors at MIT. We are in the planning stages of developing a full program of talks and discussions on mathematical subjects and on non-technical issues.
