Description:
The aims of this international conference are to honour Professor Godunov in the year of his 70th birthday, to review more than
four decades of research on Godunov and related methods and to speculate on their future perspectives. In addition to
Professor Godunov's key address there will be 22 invited speakers, all of whom have made major contributions to the
development and application of Godunov methods. Part of the scientific programme is the Harten Memorial Lecture, to be
delivered by Professor Stanley Osher, UCLA, USA. Invited and selected contributed lectures will form part of a two-volume
book on Godunov methods.
