Description:
The conference will be held under the auspices of the Network on Arithmetic Algebraic Geometry of the European Project for
Training and Mobility of Researchers with support from the Italian Ministry for University Research and Technology (MURST)
and the Universities of Padova and Venezia. The principal nodes of the Network are the Universities of Barcelona, Bonn,
Cambridge, Durham, Köln, Münster, Orsay, Oxford, Padova, Paris VII, Rennes, and Strasbourg.
In keeping with the aims of this Network, the conference will include not only the plenary talks of the senior invited speakers,
but young researchers in the field will be asked to present their recent work as well.
