The objective of AI'99 is to promote research and development of AI by: providing a forum for the dissemination and discussion of new research results, concepts, and technologies; providing practitioners exposure to and an opportunity to evaluate the emerging research, tools, and practices; providing the research community a strong appreciation of the practical constraints that are commonly encountered in the engineering of AI systems.
