Organizers: Lester Caudill (Chair, University of Richmond), John Hubbard (University of Richmond), Michael Kerckhove (University of Richmond)

Description:
This is the nineteenth in a series of conferences on differential equations. For nearly two decades this has been a conference which brings together established and new researchers and advanced graduate students for an exchange of ideas and discussions on the diverse aspects of differential equations. The primary purpose of the conference is to promote research and education in the field of differential equations, i.e., ordinary and partial differential equations and functional differential equations, numerical techniques and their applications to biology, engineering and physics.

Speakers: Margaret Cheney (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute): "Electrical Impedance Tomography", Peter Lax (Courant Institute, New York University): "A Dispersive Deterministic Analogue of Turbulence", Glenn Webb (Vanderbilt University): "A Diffusion Model of Phenotype Evolution in Helicobacter pylori"
