Conference Objectives:
a. To highlight relevant air quality problems pertaining to the region and to hold a state-of-the-art review of these environment problems by leading international experts which would lead to a discussion of appropriate remedial actions leading to regional strategies to combat the problems and the introduction of relevant legislation for consideration and adoption. b. To promote collaborative study and research in Environment-related issues of the region and to foster contact and exchange among scholars and policy makers in the region.
c. To update the air quality models introduced in the last workshop of the UBD by taking into account the climatic and topographic features of the country. (These would include necessary meteorological, physical and mathematical aspects)
