Description:
During the autumn semester of 1999, the National Network in Applied Mathematics (NTM) will organise a postgraduate course on large deviation analysis with applications to queueing and telecommunication systems. The intended audience is students with an engineering degree and with an interest in mathematical analysis of telecommunication systems, and students with a degree in mathematics and/or statistics and with an interest in applications to telecommunications. The course will be open to students from the NTM graduate school, to students from other research networks such as Personal Computing and Communication, to other students from Nordic and Baltic countries and also to participants from industry.
