Description:
The conference will be held at the University of Rostock, the oldest university in Northern Europe; founded in 1419. The old Hanse-Town Rostock is located about 200 km north of Berlin at the Baltic coast.

This conference is the successor of ODSA '97, and thus the second meeting in our ODSA-series.

Emphasis is put on the interactions between several aspects of Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Optimization, and Theoretical Computer Science.

TOPICS: Combinatorial optimization and algorithms on discrete structures, Extremal problems in posets, Design theory, Coding theory, Cryptography, Graph theory, Complexity theory, and related topics.
