Description:
Over the last years the theory of Orthogonal Polynomials has attracted considerable attention. The main reason for this interest lies in their applicability in areas as approximation theory, numerical analysis, scattering theory, nuclear physics, solid state physics, digital signal processing, electrical engineering and so forth.

The aim of this symposium is to bring together specialists from several areas interested in different aspects of the theory and applications of Orthogonal Polynomials, as well as to provide a meeting point for the presentation and discussion of new developments in the field.
