Description:
ISBA 2000 continues the series of ISBA World Meetings focussed on research and applications of Bayesian statistics. ISBA 2000 is actually the First International Meeting of a new series of meetings that will take place once every 3 or 4 years from now on. Consistent with the primary goals of ISBA in promoting interdisciplinary and international developments in Bayesian analysis, conference activities will range widely across theory, methods and applications in many diverse areas. A subset of activities will focus more specifically on Bayesian methods and applications in the "theme" area of government and official statistics, broadly interpreted.
