Description:
Scope of the Conference: The twentieth century was marked by tremendous advances in science. The physical laws of nature are now quantitatively understood over a wide range of energy and length scales. The fundamental laws governing life are emerging. In parallel, technological development such as transistors, computers, and the internet, have transformed the way we live. The impact of science may be even greater in the 21st century. This conference will focus on sciences that are bound to affect our future: biosciences, nanosciences, and computing.
