Description:
This interdisciplinary workshop, supported by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council , aims to connect engineers, mathematicians, and industrialists working on innovative boundary element algorithms and their application in computational acoustics and electromagnetics, and to explore the opportunities for increased collaboration in this field. The workshop will highlight recent algorithmic developments and applications of common interest in acoustics and electromagnetics, for example fast multipole and preconditioned iterative methods, time domain scattering problems, inverse problems, and scattering by rough surfaces.
