The conference is intended to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners dealing with all aspects of discrete and computational geometry. JCDCG has been
held every year since 1997, as a local conference every odd year and an international conference every even year. Since 2000 is the World Mathematical Year
(WMY 2000), the Organizing Committee of JCDCG 2000 aims for a larger conference than the previous ones, involving 200 participants and 50 talks.
Internationally prominent researchers and practitioners will be invited by the organizers to present papers.
The proceedings of JCDCG2000 will be published in Lecture Notes in Computer Science, Springer.
