International Workshop on the Quadratic Assignment Problem and its Extension

August 7-8, 2000

Bangkok, Thailand

Mathematics

Host: Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University
Email: fengprc@nontri.ku.ac.th

Description:
The quadratic assignment problem(QAP) has been studied extensively for almost half of the decade. Despite of all efforts, the problem is still so easy to state but so difficult to solve. Moreover, solving the problem with dynamic and probabilistic nature raised from the real situation have extended its complexity and difficulty. The aim of this workshop is to open opportunities for QAP researchers to present their current work results, propose and exchange new ideas related but not limited to the following topics: Exact Algorithms; Heuristic Algorithms; Mathematical Programming Approaches; Dynamic/Probabilistic/Stochastic QAP; Fuzzy/Multi-criteria QAP; Mini-Max QAP; Cubic/..../Nth order Assignment Problems; etc.

Speakers: Jeffery Arthur, Vira Chankong, Kamlesh Mathur
