Description:
The 22nd Congress of the International Council of the Aeronautical Sciences (ICAS) will be held
in Harrogate, United Kingdom. The ICAS member association in the United Kingdom, the Royal
Aeronautical Society, will act as the host society. The objective of ICAS is to promote an
international exchange of information in all branches of aeronautical science and technology. In
recent Congresses, the goal has been to emphasize the fundamentals of, as well as the
inter-relationships between, the various aeronautical disciplines, from basic research to recent
developments in design, engineering, manufacturing, and aircraft operations.
