Description:
This will be a small and informal meeting, with only few selected morning talks on topics from geometric topology. Propositions for talks (with abstracts) are welcome. Final program will be drawn on site. Everyone should make his own arrangements. There will be no registration fee and no financial support is expected.

Svalbard (Spitzbergen) is a beautiful oasis of unspoiled nature, an Arctic archipelago just below the North Pole. Its main community Longyearbyen (78 degrees north) has a population of about 1500 people and is home to the northernmost university research and educational institute UNIS - see www.unis.no The town has several hotels, restaurants and bars, post office, bank, shopping center, hospital, etc. For more, see www.svalbard.com
