The objective of the symposium is to focus on how
hydrology provides understanding to many of the
important environmental issues that the world is faced
with. Issues such as environmental flows, stream and
land salinisation, groundwater contamination, flood and
drought management are all important not just for the
scientific fraternity but also for the community at large.
