Description:
POAC conferences provide a direct link between scientists, engineers and designers of arctic structures and ships by exchanging knowledge in the form of the newest research results and development plans for arctic activities. The first POAC Conference was held in Norway in 1971 and it is held every 2 years with a different international venue. Typically there are about 150 Participants at the Conference presenting and discussing papers related to several ice-engineering topics.
