This International Symposium covers research on animal, plant, insect and bacterial positive-stranded RNA viruses. The
program will cover: genome expression and replication; virus entry and assembly (receptors, entry, tropism, virion
structure); virus-host interactions (co-expression, host response, pathophysiology, immunopathogenesis); host cell
response to virus infection (apoptosis, signalling, transcriptome); strategies for control of virus diseases (vaccine, virus
vectors, antivirals); virus evolution and genomics; biology of infected cells (virus budding, virus-induced cell structure
rearrangements).
