The aim of the conference is to provide a forum to encourage the exchange of ideas about recent
developments in plasma sources for atomisation and excitation in atomic spectroscopy and ionisation in
mass spectrometry. The Conference will bring together international participants experienced in
fundamental aspects, instrumentation and applications in typical Norwegian winter informal settings to
examine recent progress in this continuing growing field; approximately 330 participants are expected to
attend.
