Organizers: Michael Crenshaw

Description:
The purpose of the workshop will be to review the new observations and their implications, investigate the correspondence between the observations and models, and stimulate new directions for future collaborative efforts. Scientific topics will include intrinsic UV and X-ray absorption, broad absorption-line quasars, radial outflow in the narrow-line region, photoionization and shock models of the emission-line and absorption regions, dynamical outflow models, and connection to the central engine and broad-line region.
