Description:
The 81st Annual Meeting will be built around two large interdisciplinary symposia: "Precipitation Extremes: Prediction, Impacts, and Reponses" and "Climate Variability, the Oceans and Societal Impacts."

The first symposium will focus on all aspects of quantitative precipitation forecasting, the second examines the ocean's role in past, current, and future climate variability on seasonal to centennial timescales.
