Description:
The panel deals with contemporary issues in environmental ethics such as
ecological feminism, deep ecology, sentient and anthropocentric approaches. We
especially seek papers that integrate Asian and Pacific Island approaches to
environmental ethics, but any serious discussion of environmental ethics will be
considered. This panel provides an opportunity to engage scientists in a
dialogue regarding the role of moral values in the sciences, especially
concerning environmental ethics.
