Description:
The Symposium deals not only with building physics in a narrow sense, but also includes indoor climate, energy savings, alternative building technology, calculation models and programs.
The symposium treats conditions that influence or are influenced by the atmosphere and hygrothermal climate in and around buildings, under the following headings: Heat transfer; Moisture transport; Air tightness and air movement; Heat, moisture and air balance; Measuring techniques; Properties of materials etc.; Indoor air quality; Thermal comfort; Durability; Energy conservation; Building envelope performance.
Structural aspects are not included. Neither are fire, daylight and lighting nor building and room acoustics, except for energy aspects of daylight and lighting.
