The Conference will explore the role of concepts, trends, and technologies
in preserving traditions and in prompting innovation in design for the
theatre through the ages.
Contributions--papers and panels--are invited from scholars in any relevant discipline, particularly theatre studies, cultural studies, history of art, and design. Areas of interest include: stage design, costume design, lighting design, sound design, theatre architecture, and masks.
