Description:
Conference Theme: Rationality The graduate students and faculty at Columbia University invite papers on the role of the concept of rationality in philosophy: in ethics and political philosophy, in the philosophies of mind and language, and in epistemology and the philosophies of the natural and social sciences.

Papers submitted should not exceed 3000-3500 words (thirty minutes reading time). Please send two printed copies per submission and attach a one-paragraph abstract (150 words), as well as a disk copy. Reviewing will be blind; accordingly, each printed copy should include a detachable title page listing the author's name, address, e-mail address, and phone number.

Conference sessions will include presentation of the selected paper, presentation by a commentator, and discussion.
