The primary goal of the International Conference on Disaster Management is to improve preparedness,
response, recovery and mitigation for all natural and man-made disasters in order to save lives and
reduce property damage.
To accomplish its goal, the Conference will bring together all the disciplines involved in both natural and man-made disasters - emergency management, law enforcement, fire, emergency medical, etc. - to encourage a cross-pollination of ideas. We believe that this sharing of ideas and experiences across disciplines, disaster types and continents will help lead to important innovations in disaster management.
