The technical Program for this conference will consist of technical sessions, keynote
lectures and a number of workshops.
As has been done in the past, the help of the technical committees of the EMD will be solicited for planning and populating most of the sessions. Additional sessions will be created by the organizing committee based upon the technical content of the submitted papers. It is tentatively planned to organize 56 sessions with 5 papers per session, allowing for a total of 280 papers. This will be achieved by holding 21 sessions per day, in 3 time-slots of 7 concurrent sessions. Depending on the final number of papers received, this schedule can be adjusted by adding additional parallel sessions or by adjusting the number of papers per session. In addition to the technical sessions, each day will begin with a technical keynote speech.
