This conference aims at pulling together two seemingly different but overlapping
areas of interest: research and teacher development. TDTR conferences have enabled
researchers to relate their work to the area of teacher development and teachers to
develop insights into their own work and their profession as a whole. In TDTR 5
researchers and teachers from a wide range of countries will bring to this platform
their experience, research and practice, which may lead to further developments in
the field of ELT. We believe that the international nature of TDTR 5 will contribute
to the professional development of each participant.
