The Congress aims at providing an international forum for scholars, teachers, and practitioners involved in Translation
Studies, and papers are invited from EST members and non-members alike on topics concerning new claims and challenges
in the discipline.
The Congress programme will be organised with plenaries, panels, papers, posters and polemics. A selection of contributions will be published in the Proceedings. There will be a book exhibition and an opportunity to set up information stands for research projects. In addition, there will be pre-congress seminars in the afternoon of 29 August on specific topics related to research training: localisation, community interpreting, and corpora and Translation Studies. Each seminar will run if at least 20 participants sign up for it.
The Congress languages will be English, French, German and Spanish. Contributions may be given, and abstracts submitted, in any of these languages.
