Each year the annual convention features 220 sessions on a variety of literary and professional topics. In addition, the local host institution
brings in a keynote speaker and arranges a number of literary and social events, including readings, special scholarly opportunities, walking
tours, and tourist highlights. The convention affords the opportunity to meet with colleagues from institutions around the world in both a
social and professional environment.
