The 14th Biennial Conference of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children Co-sponsored by Centro Huerta del Rey, brings together a global multicultural community of educators, parents, researchers, and members of business and government, all sharing a common goal-to support the education of gifted and talented youth worldwide.

The conference officially begins on Tuesday evening July 31, with the opening ceremony and a keynote address. Immediately following the opening ceremonies, you are invited to the President's Welcome Reception where you can meet and greet your colleagues during a casual evening of Catalonian refreshments.

Speakers: Todd Siler, USA, visual artist, writer, inventor, educator, and consultant, Lannie Kanevsky, Canada, presenting the A. Harry Passow Memorial Lecture is his, former student, a current researcher, and scholar, Deborah Eyre, UK, Head of the Research Centre for Able Pupils at Oxford Brookes, University, Oxford, Richard Shope, USA, head of educational projects at the Jet Propulsion Laboratories, in California
