Description:
The Conference will explore the mathematics curriculum of today and tomorrow
with special focus on technology’s impact and application in the classroom.
The primary focus of the Conference for each participant will be three seminar
courses. Each course, led by an experienced classroom teacher, will be limited
to a small group and will meet for two hours each day. Graduate credit is
available. Space is limited. Applications will be accepted on a first-come,
first-served basis. To reserve your space, application must be postmarked by
April 15, 2002. The registration fee of $550 will cover three daily workshops
with all materials, special programs, and meals. The fee of $700 will cover that
plus housing on campus. All foreign checks must be in US dollars. The conference
begins on Sunday, August 4. Round-trip transportation to and from Newark
International Airport will be provided on Saturday, August 3. The conference
ends on Thursday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m.
