Description:
The objective of the meeting is to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of recent developments in
physical organic chemistry, and to highlight future prospects of this now mature but still very active field. The
emphasis will be on interdisciplinary approaches encompassing both experimental techniques and theoretical
methods, focussing particularly on the most important achievements in the following topics:
Structure and reactivity studies;
Proton transfer and electron transfer processes;
Supramolecular assemblies and their relevance to molecular biology and materials science.
