Description:
The aim of the conference is to set the research agenda for the coming decade concerning the roles of geological modelling and computing science in ground characterisation.

We recognise that, over the past decade, the pace of technological innovation has outstripped the ability of many researchers and potential users to evaluate and adopt promising new characterisation methods.

The meeting will consider the changes in information technology and the evolution of our concepts concerning information management, together dictating a new evaluation of the fundamentals.
