The purpose of the meeting is to bring together experts in Algebraic Groups, Algebraic Geometry, Representation Theory and related areas, especially
those touching on: geometric methods in representation theory using tools like equivariant cohomology and perverse sheaves; the Hilbert scheme of
points on a surface and its connection with the n!-conjecture in algebraic combinatorics; equivariant versions of cohomology and Chow groups related
to flag manifolds and Schubert varieties; quantum cohomology and Schubert calculus.
