Description:
Envirosoft 2002 is the ninth conference in this major international series on `The Modelling, Monitoring and Management of Environmental problems'. The meeting provides a unique forum for the interaction of managers and engineers involved in the creation, development or application of computer software related to environmental problems. The conference aims to establish a useful connection between originators of environmental software programs and their possible users, thus reducing the present large duplication of effort in software development.

The continuing objective of this conference series is to present the most recent developments and practical implementations in the theoretical, numerical and applicable aspects of computer analysis, simulation, modelling, control and forecasting for environmental applications. Papers are encouraged in these areas including environmental modelling, algorithms, software codes and other topics related to the scope and application of computer programmes to environmental issues.

Envirosoft 2002 follows on from the other successful meetings in this series, which first started in USA (1986) and continued in Greece (1988), Canada (1990), UK (1992), USA (1994), Italy (1996), USA (1998) and Spain (2000).
