Description:
Continuing the series of International Conferences on Difference Equations and Applications, the 7th meeting will be held in Changsha, People's Republic of China. Both in form and spirit this conference will resume the style established during the previous meetings in San Antonio,Texas/USA (1994), Veszprém/Hungary (1995), Taipei/Taiwan (1997), Poznan/Poland (1998), Temuco/Chile (2000) and Augsburg/Germany(2001).

The conference will cover all themes of the field of ordinary and partial difference equations, classical and contemporary, theoretical and applied. There will be about 15 plenary lectures (50 minutes) in mornings, and 30 minutes talks in the afternoon sessions as well as an open problems seminar.

The themes of this conference include, but are not limited to:

General theory of difference equations; asymptotic behavior; oscillation theory; stability theory; bifurcation theory; control theory; chaotic dynamics; complex dynamics; iterated function systems; numerical methods in differential equations; discretization of differential equations; dynamic equations on time scales; discrete equations and inequalities; functional equations; stochastic processes; industrial mathematics; mathematical engineering; discrete models; applications in economics, biology, physics and other disciplines.
