The field of optimization involves a powerful combination of theoretical analysis, algorithm
and software development and scientific computing. The practical scope and utility of
optimization continues to grow.
The Seventh SIAM Conference on Optimization will address the most important recent advances in linear, nonlinear, and discrete optimization.
