Description:
The three main scientific topics of the planned EuroConference, in parallel with the Newton Institute programme entitled Higher Dimensional Complex Geometry are: Minimal models, classification and birational geometry of 3-folds, resolution of 3-fold quotient singularities and the McKay correspondence, and Calabi-Yau 3-folds and mirror symmentry.
