In June 2002 Neil Trudinger will celebrate his sixtieth birthday. To commemorate this event the School of Mathematical Sciences is hosting a Special Year on Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations in 2002.

One of the highlights of the Special Year will be a conference on Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations and Related Topics, to be held in Canberra from 15 July to 19 July, 2002. We expect a large group of international participants, as well as many from Australia.
