Description:
The conference is the third conference with this title and a continuation of a long series of conferences with the title Probability in Banach Spaces. The conference will be held June 24-28, 2002 at Sandbjerg Estate. The program will emphasize the current research in high dimensional probability and its applications to statistics and physics; with emphasis, in particular, on the following topics:
* Empirical Processes * Limit Theorems, Strong Approximations and Large Deviations * Gaussian Processes * Stable and Infinitely Divisible Processes * Applications to Statistics * Applications to Physics
The participants are invited to give talks and/or to deliver papers for the published proceedings of the conference. As at the earlier conferences, we expect to publish the proceedings in the Birkhäuser series Progress in Probability. The talks or papers could be current research or broader perspective surveys.
