- The characterization of the chemical structure, composition, and morphology of macromolecular materials, surfacres, mixtures and solutions; - (Analytical) separations of mixtures of macromolecules to obtain detailed information on chemical structure or to determine distributions (molecular mass, chemical composition,...) - The separation and characterization of biopolymers and other natural macromolecules; - The separation and characterization of synthetic polymers.
