In a career spanning six decades, and still very much in progress, she has published more than twenty books, including poetry, fiction, a memoir, children’s books, and translations. In addition, she has written film scripts for the National Film Board of Canada, and, under the name P.K. Irwin, has produced an impressive body of work as a visual artist.

The Conference will include a number of events: • academic papers • readings and tributes by poets • a reading by Page herself • an exhibit of her visual art • a showing of films by and about her • a concert • a banquet

Conference proceedings will be made available to all conference registrants on a CD, which will also include reproductions of Page’s visual art, an audio recording of her poetry reading, and an annotated bibliography of works on Page.
