Description:
The scope of this Solvay workshop lies at the interface between optics, photonics, information processing, nonlinear dynamics, and quantum physics. The ambition is to gather leading scientists from the classical and quantum information/communication communities, with a main emphasis on optical information carriers. The state of the art in both quantum and classical (including chaos-based) information processing will be analyzed in order to build scientific bridges between these communities and define priorities in the research agenda for the next decade.
