The Department of Statistics, University of Jammu, Jammu is organizing a Two Day Conference on Emerging Trends in Statistical Methods And Optimization Techniques during February 22-23, 2008 at Jammu. The focus would be on recent trends in Statistical Research with their applications for welfare of the society. Several Eminent Academicians/Statisticians will be invited to deliver talks on specialized areas. There will be paper presentation sessions as well an Award for Best Paper Presentation for Young Statisticians.
